As a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and psychotherapist, I am deeply committed to helping people navigate the complexities of life. I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my Master’s in Social Work from San Jose State University. Since becoming a licensed clinical social worker in 2022, I’ve had the privilege of completing a post-master’s fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, where I gained hands-on experience working with children, teens, and families. My work is informed by a variety of settings, from community-based in-home services to pediatric medical environments and non-profit educational settings. I currently work at Kaiser Permanente as a psychotherapist and serve as a Child Abuse and Prevention Champion.

In my practice, I take a client-centered, strength-based approach to therapy, believing that each person’s story and experiences deserve to be heard and honored. My philosophy is rooted in creating a safe, inclusive space where people from all backgrounds—regardless of race, culture, gender, or spirituality—can feel seen and understood. I understand that seeking help can feel vulnerable, but I believe that real growth happens when we lean into that discomfort together.

I work with a wide range of clients, including children, teens, families, and adults, particularly those experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or the effects of intergenerational trauma. My passion lies in helping people reclaim their strength and resilience, whether they’re first-generation professionals, immigrants, or adults navigating life’s many stressors.

I bring a range of therapeutic modalities to my sessions, including Trauma-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and family systems approaches. I tailor each session to the individual because I know that no two journeys are alike. I’m also currently offering EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), with formal training expected to be completed in 2023.

Through warmth, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s journey, I’m here to help you find your way forward—at your own pace, and in your own way.
